When I was in Chennai, I used to face few unlucky traffic days per month. Trees are very hard to find in Chennai’s roadside and Chennai is very hot so if you stuck in traffic for few minutes then it will be equivalent to taking a hot bath. Although those were a few days I felt very hard to pass in those situations. A few reasons I can think for Chennai’s traffic condition is Politician visits, buses, autos and manual traffic signals.
Finally a day has come to sweep off my unlucky traffic days – I relocated to garden city, Bangalore. Trees are all around the city and the climate is very good so that even if you stand for one hour in the traffic you won’t sweat. Yes there are no more unlucky days. I don’t need to count the number of unlucky days I have faced in a month.
But unfortunately I have to count the number of lucky traffic days. Traffic in Bangalore is horrible. You can count the number of two ways by using your fingers. The number of signals within 500 meter will exceed 10 and most importantly the signals are not synchronized. It takes 50 minutes to go to my office from my home (13KM). Now I can count a few lucky days in which I reached my office within 20 minutes.

Chennai has beaches, and roads which can still be expanded. Definitely less crowded than Blore.
I really like Blore's weather, can never deny that. But the pollution got thinking twice about moving there.
